Matthew 13v31 He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32 Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”

Our faith can be minuscule yet our God is immeasurable. We could envision this as a person weak in circumstance prays their first cries out to God, the Lord uses that small moment of surrender to root in them the vast renewal that only Christ can give. Our faith begins with that seed and the Lord will bring people to water it, to cultivate it. As we seek God we begin to grow upwards and stronger as a display of His mercy and glory in us. In time we are strong enough to hold others on our branches. To bring refuge, to plant yet another tiny seed in those seeking comfort; just by being there and offering our strength through the spirit that is Christ.

Our faith can be minuscule but our God is immeasurable.
