This is what we need to do with the word of God.

So take heart, men, for I have faith in God that it will be exactly as I have been told. (Acts 27:25 ESV) Paul is speaking this to the crew on a battered and beaten ship that is taking him as prisoner through the winter seas to Rome for him to plead his case of the resurrection of Christ to Caesar. Paul is visited by an angel telling him no man shall be harmed on this trip and he stands up and boldly proclaims what he is told. This is what we are to do with the word of God. What we read needs to be proclaimed by the lives we lead. And more personally If you have had that moment, that feeling that God has spoke to you specifically to do something don’t second guess it, just be patient and faithful and watch God work His amazing glory in your life. Acts 27v22 Yet now I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. 23 For this very night there stood before me an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship, 24 and he said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar. And behold, God has granted you all those who sail with you.’
