Deuteronomy 4v31
For the Lord your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them.

In this passage we see that God is great (the power to destroy) but also God is good (merciful and will not leave you). This is a powerful truth to lean on and to focus our lives around. God is greater than all so that we place our faith in Him while knowing He is the greatest good, to trust in His will to be the very best for us.
