Proverbs 3v3-6
Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

The path of life is often hidden, confusing, and scary. But if we look to God and understand He has our life in His mighty hand that created our lives to begin with then we will not go astray from where He has called to go. We must live by patience in Godly understanding rather than what the world wants us to do and we will find that we are following a path that is greater than we ever could imagine.
