Well its been another sweet night in Austin.  We spent all day down town in the city. We did a meeting, a party, and then hung around and my boy Jason finally got to meet Lights. She really is a beautiful girl in person small and adorable.  As the night progressed we all met up and went to see The Mike Woods aka Mikes Pawn Shop. The kid tore it down, straight up put his leg on an older fellow like a monitor and killed it.  I love all the guys in his band as well.  Ive been following Mike for a while and I’m just really happy for him to finally have a good backing band.

In the middle of the day I had one of those whats happening in life moments where I began to worry about money, about travel, about everything. The worries wear me out, literally I had to put my head down like I just took a test in high school and finished before the rest of class. But all I had to do was pray for the moment. Pray for what was wearing me down, and God gave me strength to move on with my day.  I tend to forget that when I have times like that all I need to do is talk about those worries with the provider.  So next time you’re stressed give a little time to God and talk about what you are feeling. I promise it will be worth it.

I love Austin, I love all the amazing people we meet, I love my band mates, I love our manager, I love life.

Lying tongues are clumsy.

After our stay in Dallas we made the drive down to Austin where we are now staying. Once again our sweet, sweet manager has put us up in a hotel for the remainder of the week, love her.  It has a kitchen. I dig.

Tomorrow we play our first show it heck almost a week. I’m excited and ready to do what the heck ever it takes to promote it. If you are in the area we play 10:30pm Darwin’s Pub. It’s going to be something good. I’m sure of it.

Found out today through a phone call that God can bring a father and son together when they are a thousand miles apart. Oh how He loves us.

I’m going to start posting the song that I wake up with in my head everyday.
